I have had Encores with brakes BUT nevet the TC Muzzletamer. My question is are they effective on a rifle barrel? Is there a noticable reduction between barrels with & without the tamer. I know all muzzle brakes are not created equal. Some are just more effective. The barrel I am looking at is a 450 Marlin. Never shot a 450 BUT have heard some stories of the recoil in the Marlin Guide Gun. Thanks for any input!

I have a muzzletamer on 30/30, very little recoil is felt.
