I tried to sight in my 20gauge encore. I have a Nikon Slugmaster 3x9 scope on it.
I shot Federal 3" blue tip expander sabots with no good grouping at 50yds from a bench rest.
I then tried Hornandy 2 3/4 sst sabots with the same problem.
I then tried 2 3/4 Lightfields with moderate success @ 50yds.
What do you shoot from your Encore 20gauge for sabots.

I tried every sabot I could find with groups generally around 5-6" @ 100yds.(some worst)But the Rem. premier Copper Solids shot a 1.25" group @ 100yds. From what I've heard the Rem. Accu tip will shoot as well just can't get my hands on any. I also have the same scope you mentioned. I set mine 2" high @ 50, 100 was also 2" high but the other distances were just right. Give it a try.
