Decided to try a new caliber this year, but wanted something "different" in setup, so I threw a EOTech on top of this 15" pistol barrel for some shorter range deer shooting.

Thanks Brad.

Jamie,
I have. It shoots well. I'm dying to get it threaded for a muzzle device, but my gunsmith is busy as heck right now. I'm still waiting to get my .45LC / .410 barrel from him. He was drilling / tapping it for a rifle forearm. Should be pretty nice looking once I get it finished.

All the best,
Glenn

I've always wondered about the EoTech, never looked thru 1. Man I guess I need to get to town a little more often. LOL Mike

Mike,
I thought EOTech was just an overpriced red-dot - Until I used one. Far from it. It's a "true" holographic site. It doesn't work anywhere close to the same as a red-dot. After I bought my first one, I was hooked. I've picked up a few more from a buddy of mine that deals with these, and I've been very impressed with them. Well worth the money.

I can keep both eyes open on the shot, and no matter how I move my head, the aim doesn't move. Awesome for close range shooting where you want to maintain the whole picture.

All the best,
Glenn

I always thought it would be good on my bear gun, I hunt with dogs and sometimes in the brush it can get hairy real quick when the dogs have 1 bayed and you're 10 feet away and can't see em yet, that's when you have to shoot fast and accuratly to get the job done. Mike
