I'm wanting to get one of these for predators and targets to. What are the pros and cons. Which would you choose.I also reload so I know there are more bullet options for the 22 cal.
Thanks

Ruger 204 - 223 size case, 22-250 velocities. Easy to reload
223 - Normally available ammo, easy to reload
22-250 - wicked fast, usable in some states for hunting, very fun to shoot
I went ruger 204 because it gave the advantages of both of the others
Honestly, I have all the barrels I want or could ever need..... wait, look, there's another!!

I choose the 204 because of several reasons, but why limit yourself to just one, take one of each. Three times the fun. I like the 204 because of speed and is wickedly accurate.

I guess I'm a little different because I like the 22-250 best. In my eyes it's the most versatile as you can load the lighter bullets and get 4,200fps and it's real fur friendly. I've shot several yotes with the 45 gr.h.p. bullets at calling ranges and have never had a exit hole. OR you can step up to the heavier bullets and kill deer and antelope easily with them. JMO Mike
