Can someone tell me why the triggers on contenders is so much better than the encore.

Trigger on the G2 Contender is just like the one on the Encore. The one on the G1 Contender is the sweet trigger. One of the reasons is that it is user-adjustable.

Cost and liability would be my guess. You could cut (not that I recommend it) the trigger springs on the Contender and get some very light bench/varmint setups. I miss that frame a lot. I really like the take up screw on the Contender as well

Honestly, I have all the barrels I want or could ever need..... wait, look, there's another!!
