I am putting together a .50 muzzleloader, and I am leaning towards a Bergara barrel. What are some of the Pros and Cons of the Pro Hunter barrel vs. a Bergara barrel?

Personally, the standard barrel gives me such good accuracy I would never want anything else (or more expensive).

TC standard .50 cal magnum is a tack driver, shot after shot. Others cost more and look cool, but TC's rate of twist is perfect for the sabot loads as well as ball.

Thanks for the advice. I would prefer the Standard .50 Magnum, just need to look harder to find one. All I have been seeing are Pro Hunter Fluted, I would much rather have an original Encore.

They come up here frequently. I'll be selling my own off after this season - sooner if I wind up selling the house and moving before ML season starts.
