I just bought a "NcStar CVRSCB2919B Tactical Rifle Scabbard Padded Airsoft Gun Case Black". They are in lots of places around the internet, and I've been putting off buying one for a while now. But I had seen others recommend them, and I finally broke down and bought one. Cost me $26.95, and it's really a nice carrying piece for the money. Couple of pics:

That's a 15" 7mm-08 barrel on that Encore pistol with a Burris scope. Fits really nice. The two straps really keep it secure in there, and it carries over my shoulder really easy, freeing up my hands. I think I have a real winner in this one.

All the best,
Glenn

It looks like it should work well Glenn and it has a place for extras. I wonder if it will fit with a shorty bi-pod attached? Mike

Mike,
I can test that. Give me a few minutes and I'll see how it fits. I'll post pics as well. I have a Harris HBRM (6-9" legs).
All the best,
Glenn

Fits good, but the rubber feet on the Harris kind of "stick" to the inside. Not bad, but just a little bit.

The pistol with the bi-pod:

Stuffed into the scabbard with bi-pod attached:

All closed up and secure with bi-pod attached:

Closed side view with the pistol inside (bi-pod still attached):

All the best,

There is a zipper closure down around where the grip would be. You can see it in that second picture above, right under the grip. I don't think I'll ever use it. I'd rather use the snap closure and buckle that I show closed in the third and fourth picture instead of trying to leverage it out the bottom via the grip area. It's an "expandable" scabbard - the folded over part that has the buckle holding it down around the muzzle area can be unsnapped and the buckle adjusted to accommodate longer barrels. But "as is" when it showed up - fit the Encore with a 15" barrel perfectly for me. It's surely no "custom", but for $27, I thought it was a heck of a deal.
All the best,
Glenn

I noticed they come in digital camo, tan and o.d. green as well as the black, looks like a pretty good deal to me. Mike
