Has anyone had any experience with Boyd's wood stocks for the Encore rifle? How did you like them if you have?

Good quality. Not a high end custom, but well worth the money. I've also purchased aftermarket laminate thumbhole stocks from Stockys Stocks. They sold Boyd's for a while, but now carry another brand. I'd buy either again.
All the best,
Glenn

If at first you don't succeed... buy newer / better equipment!

Like Glenn, I've had a couple of sets of each and they look and feel good. Would buy again if they pop up at the right price.
Good Question.

I have never owned a Boyds stock for an Encore or Contender but do have on on a Ruger model 77 tang safety. Very pleased with it. Good workmanship and everything I could ask for except the Ruger grip cover with the R on the pistol grip end.

Thanks much! I ordered a set. I ordered a set with thumb hole stock. I've been wanting a wood set for awhile but never could make myself turn loose that much money for stocks. These were a great price so I thought I would try them. It really surprised me the thumb hole stock was cheaper than the regular stock.

I just purchased and installed the boyds thumbhole stock on my encore. I love it! It fit perfectly without any mods and pulls up very nice. I would never hesitate to buy another stock from boyds.

Been happy with my buys, may need to remove a little wood for a better fit, but would buy from them again.
T/C drop in, 10/22 removed a little wood, M1 Garand removed a little wood.
