Hi ,

I am just new in this forum , and I happen to be from Germany !
I have just bought a TC Encore pro hunter in 7-08, I am trying to come out with some good hand loads but I am still far from the precision I would like to have.
Whò's got some good things about that ?

Thanks
Regards from Germany

Michel

7-08 seems to be a pretty popular caliber for handloaders over here. i'm actually looking for some loads myself, using 140-160gr bullets.

Hi ,
The best I have now is some loads with RL 15 and Mosler BT in 120grs. The problem is that I have to pull the bullet very far forward , very close to the rifles, to have some accuracy and then with a 2"930 COAL , the bullet is very poor engaged in the neck.
I am waiting for some 150 and 160 which are longer.

pirsch66, let me know how you get those larger bullets to shoot. PLEASE. i'd love to be able to launch 160's. i just don't know enough about reloading to feel save starting from scratch.

Hi ,
I get my bullets here through Midway Europe which purchase the products through Midway USA. Except Jaguar bullets , those are made here in Germany.
My loads are all starting by the same procedure : powder load data , max load minus 10% and increase step by step.I use better group to adjust bullet seating depth , and again and again...
