For Sale or Trade: A short and fun .308 Win Encore barrel (factory). It's been cut down to 16.25 inches by a professional gunsmith. The iron sights are a Williams Gunsite FP peep sight and a factory TC front site.
I'll sell it for $300 (with the rear peep sight) or $250 (without the peep sight).
I am interested in trading this barrel for a .460 S&W or .357 Maximum rifle barrel.
I'm only trading the barrel, the frame and stock are not included.

I may consider other calibers as long as they fit the new Michigan law:
.35 cal or bigger
Straight-walled case
Case minimum length is 1.16 inches
Case maximum length is 1.8 inches

Did it start out as a regular contour 24" or a heavy barrel?
Will it take a factory rear sight?

I believe it was a standard contour barrel although I'm not sure how to tell the difference. It will take the original TC rear sight which I will include with the barrel.
