I have seen several people along with myself looking for a straight wall cartridge encore rifle barrel. I am looking for a 44 mag or 357 maximum barrel. I just emailed Bergara and asked them if they had plans to make them. I realize that there are other barrel manufacturers out there, but IMO the prices are high. The Bergara barrels are priced to suit me and from what I have read from others the accuracy is acceptable. For any others out there that are interested in this subject, I encourage you to email Bergara and let them know. Many manufacturers listen to the customers and maybe just maybe if they receive enough interest in those calibers they will start producing them.

I just went down this route, ended up getting a 26" fluted 375 win barrel from MGM... talk about a helluva shooter! whew

I went MGM in 357 Maxi and 460 this year, both very accurate barrels.

Michigan did the same in the shotgun zone, but limited the case length to 1.800. Hence my switching to the 357 Maxi and 460.................which neither drew blood this year Sad
