I know this is only Christmas Eve but I wanted to send out my wishes for the Merriest of Christmas to everyone. I really want to send out a special greeting to the Moderators of this great board. They do a fantastic job of keeping the rest of us in line and things running smoothly. To the Administration thank you for hosting such a place as this. I have never met anyone from here face to face but feel like I have friends that I could count on from here. This is probably the best forum on the web, rarely is there a disagreement and then if one occurs it is always minor.
Then there is Jim; what can you say about a walking encyclopedia of all things Contender and Glenn all things Encore. The knowledge here is astounding and the help from everyone is above the call.
MERRY CHRISTMAS, Happy New Year and God bless.
Mr. Murl

Well, we got maybe 3/4" of snow overnite, so having a white X-mas after all. My wife works today, as usual, she always works Christmas, by choice. She works at the care center of the hospital (nursing home building) and told me that Families generally come visit or take residents out for thanksgiving, but hardly anyone does for Christmas, so I'm going to go in and spend a few hours with the residents. Even small chit-chat, a warm greeting, and a hug is better for them than just sitting around like they don't exist, or discarded like worn out objects. As the day goes by today, let's all be thankful for what we have, and cherish it; for some it's only just "existing". For the infirmed elderly, it's not exactly a joyous season. Please, if you have an infirmed elder at least give them a call and let them know you're truly happy that they are still with us. Someday, that be you in their place.
God bless, and have a joyous Holiday season with your friends and loved ones. A special thanks for our wounded and fallen warriors, for insuring what we have, at their great sacrifice.
Jim
