WTT for TCR custom shop barrels [message #36894]

Hi all
I wont to trade for TCR custom shop barrels in the following Cal.338 win. Mag. 35 Remington, 35 Whelen, 357 Mag or a 45-70 would also like a regular barrel in 308 or 22 Hornet
I have Encore blue Frames and also Encore MGM custom barrels in 338 win mag (SOLD) 357 mag and 30 carbine all in great shape with weaver scope bases and also have a factory walnut stock set. I know this is a long shot but the barrels are out there just have to find them. PM me if you have some.NOTE BARRELS ARE FOR TRADE ONLY WILL NOT SELL.

The TCR barrels are for the TCR 83/87 rifles and will not fit the encore so if you have a 338-06 to fit the TCR 83/87 rifles then I would have an interist as I do have a 35 whelen stainless fluted for the encore but only for trade for TCR barrels Thanks for your reply

The TCR 83 is a top leaver break open like a good shotgun it is a deluxe gun with a cheak piece butt stock and a leaver remove forend also checkered with a very deep blue finish and double set triggers. Gun came out in 83 and produced till 93 when that Division of TC plant had a bad fire and all machines were destroyed. They also produced a 87 called the hunter but finish was matt blue and no set trigger the barrel offering was 22 Hornet,222 Rem. 223 Rem 243,270,7mm 08, 7mm Mag, 308, 30-06 and 12 guage smooth bore as well as slug bore But when the custom shop was open known as Fox Ridge you could order any cal. you wanted, all that went away when smith and weston bought the company. My heart jumped when you answered the ad but I was pretty sure your barrel was for the Encore,Smile

Would go ahead and sell 338 win. mag barrel with RCBS loading dies 92 Hornday 200 grn XTP bullets and app. 100 pieces of brass some nickel most are brass for 410.00 shipped (SOLD)
