I need to feed my Contender barrels in .309 JDJ and .358 Bellm. The parent case is .444 Marlin for both, but it is as scarce as hen's teeth these days. I could also use .375 JDJ brass or similar. Any help is greatly appreciated. PM me with your offers or suggestions. THANKS! Confused

Everyone has trouble finding 444Marlin/375JDJ brass. I was wanting to make brass .410 shells and searched every place I could and there wasn't any anywhere. Remington only makes it "seasonally" anymore. Must be about the same for Hornady as well. I would think "seasonally" would be in the spring, the "off-season" for needing hunting factory loads. That seems to have "passed" and whatever there was was gobbled up already, and QUICK. I need them already for 358JDJ and 338X444AI, don't have that many as it is, just enough to barely squeek by. I don't see availability getting any better in the future. You may have to resort to buying 444 factory loads and jerking them apart, then put up with the nasty scowls from the 444 rifle shooters. Midway has the option to "sign up" for availability alerts if they get any in, but you'd have to beat a thousand others who got the same alert.

All the best,

Glen,
Sorry I missed your recent PM. I did not get an e-mail from this site, even though I have that feature turned on. I'll check my spam folder.
Thanks again for your help,
Will
