So I'm looking for something that will let me shoot my Encore and Contender (yes, I did get one) a lot and not break the bank. I've always liked the Hornet and thought I'd get one, a batch of lead bullets and out shoot all those 22LR and 22MAG folks.
That got me thinking about the 17 Hornet, where I thought why not a 20 Hornet? Answer - Redding dies from Midway are $189. Are you guys nuts?
Did you know you can get 3000+ ft/sec out of a 20 Hornet? That's right up there with the 223. Granted, it's probably too hot (at max) to keep the case live up there, but still... all the speed and half the powder.
Still, where the heck are all the 22 hornet barrels?
Honestly, I have all the barrels I want or could ever need..... wait, look, there's another!!

What's really chewing on me about this is I passed up a chance to buy a 14" Contender barrel in 22K Hornet. Dummy (congrats to the shooter who's now looking for a 22 K-Hornet die set)
Honestly, I have all the barrels I want or could ever need..... wait, look, there's another!!
