I recently got an Encore Pro Hunter 15" SS barrel in .22LR. I'm going to mount a scope and was wanting recommendations for brands of rings and bases. I did some searching online and seen some bases were round whereas the top of this barrel is flat. That confused me a little. Thanks, Frank

Do you have a picture? I have never seen an Encore or Contender barrel that was flat on the top. I don't think that is a standard configuration unless they changed something recently.
