Encore Pistol sling swivel bolt [message #42370]

Does anyone know the specs on the encore sling swivel grip bolts? Are the contender bolts the same size?
I can't seem to locate a kit and would like to try and make one if need be.
Thinking I might be able to weld a bolt with the end modified into a swivel stud to a shorter bolt that will hold the grip on.
I tried a wood screw type in the factory rubber grip and it did ok for a while but pulled out eventually.

there are machine screw swivel studs available for plastic forends, I use nylock nuts not the star washers they come with, try Brownells

I have the fore end covered. Can't find the extendedgrip bolt for the grip end.
Figured I can make one,but being lazy I wondered if anyone knew bolt size!
I'm sure I could take it apart,and take the bolt to match it up!
I tried a wood screw type swivel through one of the grip cap holes but it didn't hold up.

I am pretty sure they are 1/4 -20 if you are talking about the bolt that holds the butt grip to frame a word of caution if to long the gun will fire when you close it don't ask how I know.
