hey guys I'm new to the prohunter I was wondering what is the best factory ammo and scope mount setup for a encore prohunter 25-06 I recently got. I am having issues with getting this thing zeroed in. In 3 shots each shot rose a inch with horandy whitetail 117 so I don?t know if it just doesn?t like this ammo or the mount.

I've had the best with Hornady 117 SST

It's a 1:10 twist barrel. It's made to shoot no heavier than 100 grain bullets. I've owned three .25-06 T/C N.H. made 26" barrels that all shot MOA with factory Remington Core-Lokt ammo. The N.H. Manufactured .25-06 is the only barrel I liked longer than 24".

I've seen people who have achieved good results with 117's. They are in the minority. Most find better results with 100 grain and lighter.

All the best,
Glenn

If at first you don't succeed... buy newer / better equipment!
