WTT: 44 MAG. SS BERGARA BARREL 22" [message #43877]

I bought the barrel new, 2 years ago. After mounting it on my Weathershield frame and adding a Boyd's stock and forend, I laser sighted it and fired exactly 5 rounds to zero the scope. Then, after my state changed our deer regulations, I picked up a rifle barrel for my blued frame. This setup has remained in the safe, unfired since then. The barrel is flawless, minus very light frame marks.

It is a Stainless Bergara Barrel, 22". It takes a ML forend. I would like to trade for a stainless rifle barrel, 24" or less. Not really interested in a pistol length barrel. The barrel has a DNZ #10006(M) scope mount that I would like to keep unless a good trade leads me to include it.

A few calibers that I'm interested in:

243 Winchester
30-06 Springfield
300 WSM

Hmmm, I went to the address listed when you click on TCShooter. Anyway I have a factory 7mm08 SS 24" barrel to swap. It is in very good condition but has been hunted with so has a couple of marks. It has a standard silver scope rail mounted currently. With cheap factory ammo it will shoot a 1" group at 100 yards. I've never tried to reload just for this barrel so it should do even better. I got a left handed Savage in 7mm08 so I don't need both. Let me know if your interested and we will figure out how to send you some pic's. Bill
