I found this barrel many years ago and have had my fun with it, 40-40 .411 bore like a 405 Win short, Barrel is not marked, Uses 30-40 K brass and some work on the press to finish the cases, there is plenty included here you wont need to make any for a good while, Not sure of the manufacture maybe SSK or Bullberry, just form knowledge of the makers available then and who I bought it from, has 6 holes for scope base, It has dovetails for a hanger bar system ?? someone filled the rear dovetail and then drilled and tapped the barrel for standard encore forend screws who ever did the filling did not do a good job of turning? finishing it after wards just cosmetic , The forward hole needs to go to 10-32 it is sloppy I dont have a 10-32 bottom tap nor do I want to fool with it.
At 100 yards 3" high .75 groups at 200 yards 6" low 1.5 " groups but really needs the forward screw hole fixed to maintain those groups, Load data included, Lots of powders will work 2520 3031 H4198 BlueDot HS-7 etc, I did not find a good mold did not look hard, When I first got the barrel it came with loaded cast loads more accurate than jacketed bullets slower but more accurate. I was getting about 1800 FPS only chronoed it one time.
So if you want something different to play with here you go
Barrel, dies with necessary expanders and accessories, 142 primed cases misc extra not formed 30-40 brass. 150 Hornady 300 gr FP bullets pulled to ship, Forend with screws .
325.00 TYD USPS flat rate, check or USPS money order, For pics send a PM with your email address
