Rich, I don't think so. I've already got 4 that are in the 1K serial range. another in the 5K, a 7K, and a 9K. all with the earliest trigger guard, an no manual safeties.
only the 9K has been fired. Two (a 1K and the 5K) are still in their original 4 barrel styro's I'm just complimenting him on his very nice piece. He should be proud to have it. It's been well taken care of. I would, however encourage him to keep it Period, all accessories, etc from the same time period that his gun was made.
