I was looking at a Thompson Center pistol scope 2.5 x 7 28mm are these any better than a Bushnell trophy is 28mm a little small please give me some feed back on this scope.

If God brings you to it He will bring you through it.

20mm is ridiculous. 28 better. 32 better yet. Be aware that the new T/C doesn't carry scopes at all anymore. Your so-called lifetime warranty DIED. Better or worse is fuzzy, at best.

I have 3 of em. 2 are lighted and one is a standard. I like their optics better than Bushnell or Simmons by a mile. IMHO not as good as a Burris, but equal to a Leupy or Nikon. What really shines is the ability to take recoil from rifle cartridges in a pistol. As most of them are on my Contender's they match up with the high luster bluing of the barrels. My fave is on my 30-30 Super 14. This is my bambi buster. They hunt well, and most used ones that you find in the 150 to 200 dollar range, will show some battle scars. Don't let this detract you from their overall mechanics. In the following photo the 2nd from the bottom is my .357mag with the TC standard 2.5X7X28. The 3rd one up with the Pachy's is my 30-30 with lighted recticle 2.5x7x28 TC. I have another 7-30 Waters with the lighted version not shown.

The barter system is alive and well, but the learning curve can be painful.
