Just starting to reload and looking for good loads for my Encore. I have loaded a couple that will shoot dime size groups. Seems like Hornady 117 gr sst loaded with IMR 4831 @ 51.1 gr has given me my best grouping.

Not a bad group with 110 gr Nosler today us H4831sc.

I have found that my Encore is more load friendly than my Browning A Bolt. Found it the same with factory ammo also. Seemed to shoot some better than others but none bad.

Well I use Nolser 85Gr. Bullets with 45 grns of H-4198 with Remington primers and shoot groups at 500 yds that you can cover with a dime and kill deer in their tracks at 500 yrds. But that is just what I use in my Encore with a bull barrel. I try to keep the speed up at 2900 f/s and on Barrel node #4.
