I'm curious if anyone has come across any Encore barrels, or perhaps anyone that makes barrels in 9.3x62, 8x57, 7.5 Swiss, 7.5 French, .303 British etc..

Match Grade Machine, you can get a custom barrel with numerous contours 16-28" for $350. They have 6.5x55, 7.62x54R(.308 bore), 8x57, 9.3x74R, etc. You're not going find 7.5 French, 7.5x55, .303 British, any Carcano cartridges, Jap cartriges, because they are inferior cartridges to the mauser military chamberings and aren't worth producing.

Maybe inferior by factory ammo standards. My 7.5 Swiss and French handloads are right up there with .308 ballistics. They both have more case capacity, although there just weren't a lot of fireams chambered for them. Thanks for the info, I'll check them out.

I saw a special run of 7.5mm x 55mm Swiss barrels made by someone and I agree that this is a very good set up. EB Brown makes a match 30-40 Krag also.
