I have a real nice load I shoot in my 24” 35 Whelen. It’s on the light side but devastating and the gun is pretty tame and enjoyable to shoot. It’s 180 Barnes TSX with 52 grns Varget 50 thousandths of lands. It’s actually the most accurate center fire rifle I own, it will almost shoot one holers. Pretty much only gun I carry. Hogs and deer do not like it at all.
