Might be a tough one to find. Great caliber, but I haven't ever seen one offered for sale (other than a custom shop).

When I was looking, the closest I could get to it (and I know it ain't what you are looking for) was a .25-06. Great caliber also, and MUCH easier to find.

Might want to try MGM (Match Grade Machine) for a new one if you cannot find one.

Eds Encores has a .257 Roberts heavy in a 26" right now - http://www.edstc.com/hot.html
Look about halfway down the Encore rifle section.

Great place to deal with. Ed can be a little difficult to get in touch with sometimes, but he is great to deal with when you do get him on the phone. He has some pretty competitive prices too. Several people on this site (including me) have bought from him with no problems.

Ed has one listed, under hot new items 26in heavy for 275.00. i have one it is a great caliber, mine likes a 117gr BT with 4350. good luck. Paul

yes I saw it looking to scrape funds together as I did a wildcat round when i could not turn up a barrel have that barrel and dies comming but still want the 257 so hope I can fund it before it sells
I think all guns like 4350
plan on shooting serria's 120hpgk from it with 4350 0r 3031 behind it
