I have an older low serial Encore, I was wondering if its as rugged as the newer Pro Hunter Frames, and can fire all the different calibers.

First, there are only two ways your frame is different from a pro-hunter

1) If it's early enough (before the TC fire) you'll have a trigger that has ridges on it.

2) The hammer has a screw on top that will let you swing the hammer spur left or right.

Other than that, they're exactly the same and will take any barrel the other will.

Honestly, I have all the barrels I want or could ever need..... wait, look, there's another!!

Thanks, that's good news, as I already pick up a new 270 rifle barrel and stock, than I got to thinking about the PH frame being newer production.
The trigger does have ridges, no screw to swing the hammer.
It did come with the box and three barrels, and it looks like it wasn't fired very much, if any!
