Normally I'm not one to drool over stocks... but Haus of Arms has a new set/style in (since they're sponsor I'm hoping this is OK)

They're called Birch, and they're for G1/G2 and Encore.

Honestly, I have all the barrels I want or could ever need..... wait, look, there's another!!

I thought they were pretty nice too, and I needed something a little different

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that furniture... somewhat mesmerizing.
A real showpiece for sure.
Thanks for sharing,
Jimmy

I absolutely love laminated wood stocks. I recently received my boldest color scheme (matte finish Zombie Green and Grey laminate) to go on a Remington 700 that's currently undergoing a threading / muzzlebrake treatment at Shultz Precision Machine. Can't wait to get it the barreled action back and put it all together.

A little milder than the Zombie setup will be the other stock I ordered for my second Remington 700, which is also undergoing the same treatment at SPM. I just got word from Stockys Stocks that my custom ordered (I wanted a matte finish on this one too) "Plum" stock is on the way and should be here next week. Purple and Grey. I can't wait to see it. Even more anxious to put them all together.

My son put his hand through the thumbhole stock in my Encore, and now he wants a left handed version for his 10/22. I'm going to order the "Sky" color for him (Blue / Grey laminate). He also wants one for his own encore, but since that one wears a bull barrel, the forend is going to have to be opened up, so that project is going to be put off until a little later.

All the best,
Glenn

Thank you all for the comments.

The nice thing about this one I can shoot in the backyard without bothering the neighbors.

Glenn, the laminated wood stocks do come in some wild colors, your Plum stock should be a looker, I have a friend who had a Savage stock Hydro dipped in the Purple and Grey matte and it looks great.

index.php?t=getfile&id=7468&private=0I've been whittling on a chunk of walnut for a week or so and about to start sanding.

Very nice, you have a lot more talent than I do, it looks like that's going to make a very nice light weight stock.

Time, that's the crux. The sanding is quite taxing.
I made that forearm from a stick of firewood.
I saw a stock sometime back that piqued my interest so I'm making my own version.
Thanks,
Jimmy
