maybe the latch needs to be honed to engage better I had that happen with a brand new 357 mag and a 256 win, would be cool if it was just auto eject, I know not funny

Time to replace spring and lug in barrel.
Might as well upgrade to split lug now but obviously it's slipping it's 'hold' on the frames 'table'.
