Hello all,

First post here. I will be purchasing my first Contender pistol shortly. It curently has a 10" 44 mag barrel. I don't have a serial number but I was told it's from the 80's (polished blue, diamond shape on base of pistol grip and cougars on the sideplates).

My question is: If I am looking to put a pistol length .223 barrel on it, do I look up "contender" only barels, or would it accept a G2 barrel? If more info is needed. I can call my dealer for the SN.

Honestly, I have all the barrels I want or could ever need..... wait, look, there's another!!
