I am thinking of getting one of these in a 25/06 243 or 7mm mag.
Just wondering how they shoot,If they have good groups and how the trigger is?

Thanks
Matt

Absoloutly love mine! I have a 300 Win Mag..50 cal ML...20ga slug..12ga vent rib they all shoot great!

My 300 will shoot group for group with my dads weatherby 300mag.

I agree with LK the triggers are not bad and like he said Im a hunter..but Bellam makes a trigger kit for them if your not happy with it. There are time on the bench I might like a trigger job...but when its cold and your in a rush to make a shot I like the heavier trigger pull personaly.

I just found this web site by accident and just joined tonight.

I have had an Encore of 5 years now. I had the frame French Grayed by E.A Brown a year ago afer it stared to get some surface rust durning an Elk hunting trip in Canada. I had previously ordered and installed the spring kit from Mike Bellm.

I have four barrels for mine. 50 cal BP/ 25-06/7MM Rem Mag/338-06.

I reload and it really helps to get the full potential out of the Encore.

Not hard at all. Written instructions were included and I down loaded the PDF file that show how to disasenble and reassemble the frame.

I also ordered the punch, and spring pliars which made the job easier. I also bought and dial indicator for checking head space when sizing cases for reloading.

Just a thought: if you are worried about head spacing. Loading fired brass that has been fired in a particular firearm, and loading for that same firearm, try just neck sizing. In theory, that brass has been fire formed to that particular chamber and is perfectly head spaced for THAT chamber and that chamber only. Neck sizing dies are available for any caliber out there.

You can also accomplish the same thing with full length dies, you just adjust them to only size the neck without contacting, or "bumping" the shoulder any. It's called "partial full length resizing."
Works great!
God bless!

I have once fired 300wm brass shot from a different rifle than my TC PH. Can't I FLS sized them, then shoot them out of my TC PH and then start neck sizing for perfect head spacing?
