A friend of mine has an older Contender, the type with a cross bolt safety in the hammer. When he got it I told him he should get rid of the side hammer extension. He of course wanted to shoot it and guess what the hammer broke. It is the skeleton type hammer with the cross bolt safety. If you happen to have an extra or one that will replace this one laying around, please let me know and a price if you please. Thank you.
