Ok I understand the law that to have a rifle stock the barrel has to be over 16" to be legal. So what about a super 16 ? I am considering a Contender super 16 barrel in 7x30 waters. Will it be legal with a rifle stock? I DO NOT want to use it with pistol grips so if its not legal as a rifle then I will just pass it by. Need some help on the exact definition of the law.

Yes, the super 16 is actually 16.25 - but check any local or state exceptions

Honestly, I have all the barrels I want or could ever need..... wait, look, there's another!!

Now that I know a super 16 is actually 16.25" that answers everything I need to know. That was a big help.
