Hi Guys, just wanted to drop you a line and tell you about my loading with Barnes bullets. I have been reloading for about 35 years now, and last year I tried out the barnes TTSX 100 Grain Bullet in my 25-06..Let me tell you that I was shooting Combined Technology 115 Ballistic Silver tips in all my barrels. My 25-06 grouped under an inch at 100 yds with these bullets. When I switched to the Barnes TTSX bullets. My groups easily shrunk to under a half inch..And the exspansion on Deer with these bullets is outstanding..I now shoot nothing but Barnes in all my Encore barrels, including my 45 Caliber Muzzle Loader, and I have never shot tighter groups before this..Give the Barnes a try, I think you will love them..I DO...Mike

Thanks Mike. I am having a 22" custom .257 Roberts barrel made for me. Ive shot that round a lot out of a rifle I had built around a mouser action. I always bought factory ammo, had great luck with Hornady. I am just learning reloading. I looked into all the .25 cal bullet options and wad no idea where to start. Now I think I have an answer.
Thanks again,
