I ordered a 30-06 sst barrel from Walmart for my Pro Hunter. Actually Walmart was the only place I could find one. Now I'm not sure I will be able to locate the required forearm 7571 which TC rep said would be required. Has anyone else run across this? I would also like to know how accurate are the TC barrels in 30-06. I had a Remington 700 which I could get 1/2" groups with 165 Sierra Spitzer with IMR4064

I use the forearm from my heavy taper barrel on mine, fits fine. Although mine is a .308 I had no problems with the grouping. The extractor had to be tweeked for proper operation but all in all a nice barrel.
