Finished sighting in my .338 Federal Encore today--------It took me longer than any other Encore BUT I am very pleased!!
Now I just need a bear to walk in front of me in about 10 days or so.!! Very Happy

You stated that sighting in took a little longer then any other Encore...just wondering why? Was this factory loadings or your own recipe?

The recoil is stiff but managable--------I have become recoil sensitive in the last few years BUT this is OK.
The sight in took longer because I went right to 100yrds without trying 50yrds first--after I went back to 50 and advanced to 100 it all worked out. Hair over an inch groups.
I am using factory Federal Fusions in 200gr.
Thanks

Great to hear I just got my Barrel today. Im Reloading for mine and plan on starting with 180gr and going up to 200gr. I see they make 160gr bullet, seems like that may be a little light for it. We'll see what works best.
