I bought a used Encore 12 Ga shotgun barrel and it did not come with sights but rather the six screw scope base on it. I sent an email to Thompson Center inquiring what sights would work on it, and I got a fairly unhelpful email back which said the fiber optic sights for muzzle loaders were to be used. For my barrel they do not fit. On the rear sight the hole patterns do not line up. I have finally drilled a new hole in the spring detent of a rear sight and put the spring in the screw detent and it looks ugly but it may work. I also checked the sights from my Omega and the rear sight from it does not match the hole patterns either. My question is what sights actually FIT the shotgun barrels? And if so does anyone have part numbers for them? The barrel has the six holes for the shotgun base.
