Has anyone reloaded the 30-30 win with RL-15 or RL-17? I would like to use 150 gr Nossler ballistic tip, or Partitioners. Maybe to slow a powder but I'm having a hard time getting any of the common powders like IMR 4895 and 4320 to work with. Crying or Very Sad
Thanking you in advance
Rick

The only loads I found were for RL-7 on LoadData.

I found some RL-15 data on AmmoGuide.com. Good site to join. I use it all the time. I sent you a PM.
All the best,
Glenn

Just signed up for the site. Wow do they have some stuff here. I found a box of Sierra Game King 150's so at least I can try out the 30-30 barrel thats comming in. Hope there is some warm Ca. air still in package, I'll take whatever I can get. Smile
Thanks Glenn and Greg.

Sunny: Thanks for the info. You are right Western Powders, Big Game, and Hunter, both offer some good loads for the Nos 150's I checked on Trail Boss, they offer a special load for the 160 round nose, kinda scarry. 9 grs @ 29000 cup, with no filler. I love their cowboy loads, may have to look into a 32-20 barrel for the Tender.. Good to hear from you, hope all is well out there on the other coast.
