From what I understand you put the choke in for shooting .410 and take it out for the 45. I think the "choke" is for removing the wad from the .410.

If anyone wants to sell me one I am looking. Blued or stainless.

gunho,
I'm pretty sure stuckon308 is right. I've never seen the chokes offered in anything other than the marking "internal choke". For a .410 pistol, I doubt if they are going to make various chokes for it considering the range it was designed to operate at.

Wish I could find someone who made that in a rifle length. I'd really like to have about a 24" 45/.410 barrel for my Encore.

All the best,
Glenn

If at first you don't succeed... buy newer / better equipment!

I have one for my Encore frames and one for my Contender frames.

The patterm they throw appears to be a full choke, however I think I can modify this by reloading recipe. Since there is not much shot thrown and your range is limited by that, so the full choke appears to be the best for this barrel to keep any sort of pattern density.

These are pistol barrels and the choke is just straight rifling that stops the spinning wad.

My 45/410 barrels are pistol length and I bought them use off folks at the Speciality Pistol forum a number of years ago.
