20" blue full bull threaded 5/8x24 was a 23" 6.8 SPC, now it is a 20" 6.8 SPC Long Rimmed, chamber has been reamed .10 deeper (I get .070) and the throat lengthened to accommodate 120 - 130gr bullets for better capacity = velocity (looks like a 27 Herrett) Using 30-30 brass and standard 6.8 SPC dies adjusted to accommodate the longer case, This project was started by someone else, I had it cut and threaded and the throat lengthened, Shot it about 50 times with H4198 and IMR 4198 120 SST and several 130gr (did not have a chronograph)And then the next project came along it has been patiently waiting on me a long time, Probably wont happen so time to find its new owner
will come with barrel no sights, 50 cases and a good number of this and that 130 gr bullets to get you started
