If you have the TC Encore barrel with the rib on it, that is going to make it difficult if not impossible to use the 45 Colt round for hunting. There will be no way to sight it in for your 250 grain cast bullet load with out a fully adjustable rear sight. All the ribbed barrels I have seen have just 2 beads on the rib for sighting the shotgun loads. Or do you have a custom barrel that has a rib and sights? As far as loads, I would go to Hodgdon.com and plug your numbers into their reloading reference, 45 Colt as used in the Ruger, Freedom Arms, and Thompson Center, bullet weight, and it will give you some loads for the powders you may have. They have loads for only 250gr jacketed bullets, which would be preferred for hunting anyway. When reloading, if you dont have a chronograph then you can only guess what your velocity is. The Hodgdon website loads for 45 Colt quote a 7.25" barrel. Your 15" barrel would be different. The Lyman Pistol and Revolver Handbook has loads for the 15" Encore in 45 Colt, but they used none of the powders you mention.
