Headspace Issues! [message #2297]

So i got my setup all done up today. I have got the dial indicator and the base for it from Bellm. I am shooting 308 in TC barrel. My average over 3-4 unfired rounds is .002-.003 averaging .0025. This is with walmart 18.00 a bx Remingtons. Round sticks out past the end of chamber the amount specified above.

I put a 1x pin in the gun and reassembled and checked my barrel to frame gap at a .0025 slides in and out easily. A .003 will shut up in the gun but have to pull and wiggle to get it out. That, to my guestimation puts me at about .0000-.0005 headspace unless i do a little gentle sanding to the firing pin block to open her up a tad. What yall's input?
